Resident Evil 5 for PS3 box art

The forthcoming entry to the acclaimed Resident Evil series looks to take the franchise in a whole new direction. It's been said that the game will feature Gears of War style game play similar to that of Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil 5 takes place in a Black Hawk Down-style African village where heat and shade factor into the strategy of the game. Not much else is known about the games plot as most details come from interpretations of the official trailers.
