Maybe im being a little harsh, but i think about the only thing i give this game is the graphics, and being able to customize your car......sort of! I've had the game since christmas, and i've played it only a few times, mostly b/c i've gotten too frustrated when i end up losing races and have double the horsepower and speed that my competition has. The problem: Almost every car i've tried to drive either turns too little, or too much. The controls, i'd say, comepletly suck! In N4S i've pretty much mastered the technique of softly tapping the brakes in a turn, and being able to make the turn and keep going. In SRS, doing that is almost impossible without your car spinning out, or doing a 360 when trying to make the turn. The NOS is about the only way you'll get anywhere fast, luckly that comes with a long term use. The controls though, i give a 1. The girls in the game? I'd give a 1.5, only b/c (yeah, they look like girls). But what is so sexy about computer generated girls, that you can date just b/c of your driving skills? That whole concept of the game, to me, is a waste of time and effort. The music and sound i'd also give a 1, mostly b/c of the type of music you'll end up racing to. I'd feel much more motivated if i had something fast paced to bang my head to, and loud guitars blaring in my ears, not something that has a slow, melow beat to it, and a guy singing the same exact words over and over again. To some, that may be your forte, but it just doesnt work for me. The different choices and makes and modles of cars is one thing that i did enjoy about the game. The graphics look really sharp, and real to life, but the damage you'd take at hitting a wall at 170mph would far exceed what damage is shown in the game. Would you really be able to keep going at all? All in all i gave this game a 1.5 total. Like i said previously, that may be a little harsh, but if you like your street racing games, like i do, then i'd steer clear from this one.
