KHCOM was brutally reviewed in the February edition of gamepro magazine. I'd like the oportunity to defend said video game title, as a loyal fan of RPG's in general, and of the Kingdom Heart series. Some things ring true, the new card battle system does take some getting used to, yet as you level up (the point of ALL rpg's) I found that choosing the correct cards got easier, and placing them in your deck accordingly played an enormous part in winning your battles. At first it may seem frustrating, but as you progress the game stays excitingly difficult and challenging, and the option to replay the game (I won't spoil the suprise) was a gift worthy for the gods. I won't say that some aspects are laking, such as character animations and the map layouts, which seem to only recieve a new color scheme every level, the battle sounds and map sounds are a bit lifeless but this IS the GBA not the PS2 and SquareEnix worked with what they had beautifully. All in all, if you are looking for an exciting rpg, that WILL take some time to complete if you bother to level up, were battles are prone to take a while like TRUE rpg's, and where patience is definetely a virtue but it rewards in the end, go, make haste and play this awesome intallment to the Kingdom Hearts series.
