Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes: The best the GC has to offer

Metal Gear Solid has to be one of the best games that I have ever played in my entire life. So then, what could possibly go wrong with the remake? The story's opening seems a bit slow, with all the dialouge to help you understand basic actions and all. However, it only takes a little while for the pace to pick up and the plot to thicken. If there is one thing I love about the story, it's the fact that nothing is as it seems. There is always another mystery to unravel. Not only that, but the overall theme of the game is presented beautifully. The game shows so much emotion and depth that that story rivals some of the best movies ever made in recent history. The new cut scenes add a certain spice to the mix that makes the dish that much greater. Moments that were not experienced in the original are pleasantly shown in Twin Snakes. The voice acting is some of the best you'll ever hear in a video game. Every character's voice suits them perfectly, and also reflects the character's personality. The music adds a lot to the atmosphere of the game. Music can be the deciding factor in whether a scene is memorable or forgetable; luckily the music in Twin Snakes works great with the action that's taking place. Twin Snakes also offers a new control scheme to modernize it. While some of the added moves and abilities for Snake are not needed to complete the game, they better help you to interact with your environment and do things that you could never do in the original. Keep alerting a guard who's pratolling and walkway by walking on a loud surface? Simply jump off the ledge directly below to aviod the problem. Or perhaps, hang from the railing and sneak past the guard. Everything about this game is simply excellent. There are unlockable secrets that add replay value and it seems like everytime you play, something new presents itself to you. Play this game, and you're in the experience of a lifetime.
