Graphics/5.0- Sega, and AM2 improved in the graphics department for the better. The Jaggies found in the older version, Virtua Fighter 4, are toned down, and aren't that noticable. The Character models look great, and there is a great reflection effect on the characters outer body, and it makes it look glistening. I was really impressed by the Snow Temple level, the snow dissolves and it really looks great. Sound/4.5- The sound is great, bone-crushing sounds, and some decent music in the levels. The characters speech in the beginning of a fight aren't cheesy like in some other games (Bloody Roar 3). They talk trash to each other, and I'm not sure what they say in the other character's language, but the Sound quality is good, nice swishing sound effects when you miss a kick or punch. Control/5.0- The controls are great, smoothly executable moves, and combos are a dream in this game. In some instances, when you do a complicated move or combo, the character sometimes does a little strut or taunt in a way, and it brings your adrenaline up high to kick some serious arse. I would wish Sega would use the Analog sticks for some Arcade Guru's at least, but you can still buy the Arcade Stick, for more fun. Fun Factor/5.0- This game is great. Deep gameplay (and I mean DEEP) that aren't in many fighters so far. Over 1500 unlockable secrets, costumes, accesories, etc. It retails for $20 at a greatest hits price, and frankly, it's a steal at that price. Highly Recommended.
