This one of the best Dreamcst RPG's I have seen in a while(next to Grandia 2). The story is highly imaginative, the graphics are great, and it is just fun to play. It has one of the best features in an RPG: Flying you OWN ship. It gets even better later in the game when you get to customize your ship and your own island. You get to choose who you want on your crew, what kind of cannons are on it and everything. Then when you go to the island you can purchase different armor and things like that for your island. The controls are decent but the ships feel a little slow and there is some delayed response in the movement. The music is great but Skies could have lived without the annoying voice-overs. The I haven't even touched on the graphics yet. They are full of color and are crystal clear. They even look good on the smaller TV's. But the main objective of the game is to discover the moon crystals. This game is incredibly long(especially on the 2nd disc. This is without a doubt one of the best Dreamcst RPG's ever. It is just to bad Sega has just canceled the Dreamcast because if ther was ever to be a sequel it would be perfect. We can only hope...
