Final Fantasy IX: Weird, but fun

This game had some weird characters (example: Short guy with a tail that looked female, an egg shaped creature with a long tongue that loves to cook and eat frogs, a rat with a spear, a little girl with a horn, etc...), but that doens't mean that the gameplay and storyline weren't superb. The bad guy, Kuja (who also looks like a girl), is trying to take the crystal, but you must stop him. Your party consists of Zidane, Dagger/Garnet, Freya, Vivi, Steiner, Amarant, Eiko, and Quina. Together you must travel the world in search of Kuja and the crystal. You can get yourself into some tricky spots that are really annoying, but there are also periods where you just play the game with no fights, which gives you a break from the true reality of RPGs. This game is superb, but beware, level up when you have the chance, because you'll need it. Happy Gaming.
