Final Fantasy IX: another step above the rest {of final fantasys}

I was a little suprised at first, how it didn't resemble any thing like Final Fantasy VII (I'm sorry to say that the first Final Fantasy game was FF7...), but I had it coming. I was dissapointed that square didn't take the time to put the charecters in FULL 3D, like FF&, but in a better way. The cut scences were sweet, full of jucy 3D goodness. I started with a gameshark, so i did not expirence of dying more often(im also sorry to say, so far, ive died 3 times, one because i casted doomsday. little did i know that that would of killed me too...opps.) and i also did not expirinced of having truble killing, collecting all the weapons and gill...o wait im not sorry.overall, its a good game so far, a little chalenging, but good. i loved it...so far. since i only started on FF7, i didn't expect the story line to be different, so Sonic gives Final Fantasy IX, a 4 out of 5.
