Lunar 2: Eternal Blue: Lunar 2's ingame graphics are not Final Fantasy, but that doesn't matter.

Lunar 2 is a game from the days of the Sega CD. It was remade in Japan for the Sega Saturn, and now has been remade for the PlayStation. And, I'm happy to say, this is what RPGs are about. While Final Fantasy might give the impression that great games have great graphics, Lunar goes against this. The graphics aren't great, but, they get you involved in the story. The anime sequences definetly kick here. They're detailed, and fluid, and worthy of Akira. The sound's cool. Great voice overs and music fill the game. The repetition of battle dialoge may annoy some, but, it can be turned off. The player's always left in complete control, and you can even skip the anime sequences by pressing select. Also, Lunar: Eternal Blue features cameos by many of Lunar 1's charecters. Alex, Mia, Jessica, Kyle, and Luna all make cameos, and Ghaleon and Nall also return, but, they do more (And Nall actually has Kyle's old sword!). Lunar 2 is a great game with a compelling story, and should NOT be missed by any RPG or Anime fan.
