The college football atmosphere is heating up and here comes NCAA football 2002 to add to it. This is the sequel to arguably the best college football game ever. This game is loaded with features and the AI has been given an upgrade(esp. in the pass defense department) to challenge experienced players. All in all it is a great game, but their are too many similarities to the 2002 edition to recieve a 5.0 rating. The dynasty mode is very deep, but again, is very very similar to the 2002 version. There are bits and pieces of new commentary, but the majority is recycled from last year. There are plenty of new animations and the player models look better than ever...when they are close. I was a huge fan of 2002 and I played it to death, and maybe thats why I'm so critical in this review. Dont get me wrong, this is a great game, especially for newbies. If you've never played a next-gen college football game before, this is a great place to start. It is definitely worth a purchase, even if u are considering NCAA 2K3 or Gamebreaker 2003. Put this game on your to-buy list.
