I agree that Nightcaster is lacking in some aspects, but i sat down today at about noon untill about an hour ago i was glued to the screen addicted to it. Some of the problems i found were that if u missed a spell of a level, you couldnt go back and get it and you were stuck without it, I had to turn to a stadigy guide to find them all, so i would have like it better if there were a map screen after you beat a level that you could select where u wanted to go. im a little pissed i missed the sky fall one. Another thing is that it doesnt have much, if any replay value, an options menu whith a dificulty setting and a few more things you could tweek, being able to revisit a level would be really nice, having the stalf do damage, and have a few more attacks for it would also be nice, a few more variations on the monster skins, and have elements that match the monster do a little dammage instead of none, i got so pissed off when i got cournered by a group of beasties of different types and got hacked to bits, being able to use the mushroom circles more then once would be better. A bit more of an rpg element would be nice to, i mean i know that this is all to late to be changed but im all hyped of on a bunch of different things and need to write. so... experiance that would go up when you killed something and could be put into mana orbs or increse the power of spells, and when you stayed as a specifec mage type long enough you got a proficience and powere up that types spells. I thought the beginning could use some work too, ie build up the plot a little more
