Dark Cloud: Why does everyone keep pickin on the game?

Why so much hate people? I really enjoyed the game. It has a wonderful original story, bright original characters, great bosses and bad guys, and a well rewarding if done right georama system. So sure, it rips off Zelda's battle system and it does get a little repetitive, but in the end, it all pays off.
