Assassin's Creed: Awesome, but not perfect.

I was never really into the whole sneaking around and killing people type game. But when my friend asked me if I wanted to borrow Assassin's Creed, I said why not. When I started playing it, immediately it changed my perception about what was possible in a video game. First of all, the graphics are nothing short of amazing. It's almost like the photorealism that you'd expect in a movie. Then there's the fact that there can be literally hundreds of NPCs on screen at one time. The maps for all three cities have a verticalness that isn't seen in many other games. Not only that, but every inch of it is accessible. And the story, well that's just going to pull you right in the second you start playing. The only thing I have to say about the game is that the controls were a little sketchy. I would often find myself running between buildings just to suddenly have Altair stop moving right before a huge jump, letting me fall to my death.
