Ninja Gaiden 2 is an exciting mish-mash of action and adventure(although laughable) and a definite thrill ride as you hack up enemies left and right. Ninja Gaiden 2 has some of the prettiest visuals out there, not the best, but definitely clean and sharp. But the real draw here is as you may have guessed, the action. Limbs fly left and right, a pile of heads lies on the floor....and that is only after one battle. Ninja Gaiden 2 is very gory and definitely pushes the boundary of what is acceptable in a video game, but while this may sound like a bad thing, it actually adds a whole new level of depth to the game. Should you perform a combo that could potentially take out this enemy's arm or should I risk it all and go for his head. Its times like these when the fast paced and over the top action of Ninja Gaiden 2 shines and the game is near perfect.
