This is by far one of the best N64 ports to a DS screen I have ever seen! The graphics are intact, the sound is good, the mini-games are more fun and there is alot bonus stuff to do. I wasn't a bit suprised that this game would come out medicore at first, but with all the new addtions, more stages, more characters to play as, more challenges and more gameplay. Super Mario 64 DS proved me wrong! This is the greatest version of the N64 game to date! But, the only problem I have is with the control. Using the stylus to control Mario can be a bit difficult, luckily you can change the control options during gameplay. Other than that, this is a perfect port of a great N64 game!
