I think that to truly love a game, you must truly hate it at the same time. And that is definitely the case with C3:the alien wars. It brings back all the great memories of the original Contra from the NES with even more difficulty. Lots more difficulty.... But honestly, if this game was easy, would you still play it? of course not. Beating this game is probably as challenging as it was putting the first chimp in space. It takes time and patience, lots of patience. Every single thing about this game is basically as amazing as in the original Contra, only this time it has better graphics and if you can believe it, better controls. This is easily the most played game I had in my SNES collection and I still break it out on occasion to soothe my Contra urge.
