Okay, I just don't really get this. Who wanted to make a survial/horror game thats not even scary. Was it their intention? I dunno. Let me say this, this game needs improvement. It's a fun game, really, it is, but the novelty wears off. Firstly, the story, the horrible overwritten story. Marines are sent to investigate a laboratory that has been experimenting on gene mutation things. But guess what, it backfires! What a suprise! Now Dennis, your character, must escape from the facility before bad monsters turn him into goop. Mission to Mars has a better story than this. The graphics are good. They probably give the score a pretty good boost. The backgrounds are cool looking but Dennis is too anime to look real. That's not really bad though. The sound, ugh, the sound! This is the worst flaw in the game. Voice acting is terrible while the music is too melodramatic to set an atmospheric tone. The controls are ok but a spotty auto aim funtion makes combat a pain in the ass. A really big pain in the ass. Another big flaw is respawning enemies. I just love painstakingly clearing a room of all alien life but then returning to the room and doing it all over again. Overall, this is a solid rental. I wouldn't recommend an immediate purchase.
