What do you get when you cross Perfect Dark and Doom? That's easy, you get Soldier of Fortune. In the game you asume the role of Rich Mullins, an ex-special forces soldier who now works for the very secretive Shop. The Shop is an anti-terrorist organization that will send you on exciting missions across the world. The game offers a variety of guns that do realistic damage to your enemies(Lots of dismembering goodness). Although the realistic weapons damage is cool, the graphics look like something from the N64. Of course you'd think there would be short load times because of the graphics, but actually the opposite is true. The load times in this game are tremendous. Also the sound may be lacking at times, but are generaly good. Many people will complain about the controls at first, but once you get some practice in you will find the controls work very well. Despite it's short comings in graphics and sound, and the long load times, once you get into the game you just can't stop. Th plot is filled with intrigue and will bring you in immediatly.
