This game definatly aint for everyone, I'll just start out with that and if you arn't a fan of Resident Evil (R.E.), it is kind of a cr@p shoot if you will like it or not. This is a off spin of the main R.E. storyline, that is not to confusing but it is kind of pointless in a way. When you try and fit it in the big RE storyline picture. The grafix are actually where this game shine's, using lighting very nicely. When you go into first person view mode to fire at zombie's there is a rather good amount of detail in each monster you face. Though a downfall is that with the pre-rendered background's it make's thing's indestructable unless of course you are suposed to do damage to it taking away from the shooter feel of the game a bit. The audio of the game is classic RE creating that creepy atmospher. Though this game feel's more fast paced that other RE's, the nice feature in this game is being able to go from FPS mode to third person on the fly. And it is seemless making it easier for you to fight off hord's of zombie's. That would bring me to the controll's, the movement controll's are classic RE, so either you love them or you hate them. But the swap from 3rd person to 1st person is smooth and a perfect trasition not hampering a moment of the game's overall gameplay. Another downfall this game has is that it is rather easy, and short. Not a good combination. The story is good enough to keep you into it untill the end but nothing that will rock your sock's off. It's a FPS modified to fit the world of RE, it is a good concept and is kind of fun for a bit but begin's to run it's course by the time you are done with the game. I wish there was a way to have a light gun in controller port 2, and switch from controller to gun when it came time to shoot down some baddies. But it's sign's of improvment mabee if they make another FPS RE that the game will be as good as the rest of the series. Overall, it's a good game but not for everyone. And miss's in to many area's for me to really refer it out to people. But if you are an RE buff and are interested you will enjoy the experence just don't expect to be blown away.
