Peter Molyneux chats up his next few projects, including one ever-so-vital detail... when the hell are they coming out?!
You can't rush a game with pirate murdering.
Peter Molyneux was all business when answering user submitted questions in a live text with Eurogamer. When the site questioned when Fable 2 will release on the Xbox 360, Molyneux gave a broad and cryptic response:
"When pressed to be more specific, he added: "Late 2008. Maybe when the leaves have a slight brownish tinge - but are still on the trees, if you see what I mean." Fable 2 is Lionhead's Xbox 360-exclusive follow-up to the critically acclaimed Xbox ARPG Fable.
Molyneux at sounded quite busy with another game as he divulged on a title he called a "hybrid of Dimitri". Gamernode provides a brief description of what Dimitri was or still is:
"For you folks who don't know, Dimitri (or The Dimitri Project) is/was a code name for a PC game that's under development at Lionhead Studios. There's speculation that Fable 2 evolved from Dimitri, but it's unconfirmed; also there's speculation that Dimitri was replaced by a new game project -- presumably this new game Molyneux is hinting at."
"Maybe when leaves have a light brownish tinge" sounds like he is aiming for a October, November release target, but with a broad late 2008 window, it could even be in the cold, winter of December.
Hey, thanks: Eurogamer, Gamernode

I might rent Fable 2 , the first one didn't have much replay value.

You have a good point Viva, to overhype a game is really bad. Even if the game is good, after not living up to the hype it might as well be S**T.
