Free Radical's brilliant mixtures of monkeys and guns is returning, and we've got the first word.

I want it already.

Well all knew it was coming. While it was hinted heavily earlier in the year, Free Radical's comedic shooter was officially announced. Here is Free Radical's entry on its upcoming game, TimeSplitters 4:

"It's back! Featuring even more crazy characters, devastating weapons and heart pounding hot sweaty action. It's funny, it's frantic and it'll do things you've never seen before! No, not naked girls, even better than that! We can't tell you the details yet, the monkeys have a loaded banana pressed against our skull, but this game will take the first person shooter to gaming nirvana. Save the world or die laughing, Timesplitters 4 is coming to getcha!"

Sadly that is all the information the developers were willing to divulge. No screenshots, videos, platform, nor a planned release date. But any viewer who visits the Free Radical's website is treated to a hilarious little promo parodying a beloved game. It is nice to see after Haze that the team's sense of humor is back.
