Ensemble Studios may be hard at work at Halo Wars, but it's also got an Age of Empires expansion due soon. Will we see anything from it bleed into the company's next project?
The lesser-known 'Good Wall of China'
Ensemble Studios is not only hard at work on Halo Wars, but also the next expansion of the hit RTS game Age of Empires III with the Asian Dynasties. GameSpot reports the game is complete and has gone gold:
"Big Huge is now done "playing around in [Ensemble's] sandbox," as Microsoft sends word today that Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties has gone gold and will ship to retail October 23 for Windows Vista and XP PCs."
Asian Dynasties introduces new the new Japanese, Chinese, and Indian civilizations. It will also include new maps spanning across the Asia continent from Siberia, Borneo, and many more. Each civilization has 5 unique wonders the player can build providing different abilities.
Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties will be priced at $29.99 and hit stores on October 23.
