This is Isolation, the newest Halo 3 multiplayer map.

Today Bungie released info on Halo 3's newest multiplayer map, Isolation. We haven't had many multiplayer goodies to drool over since the beta closed a few months ago so this is an exciting appetizer before September 25 comes and I lose any evidence that I ever had a tan. IGN has the details as well as an interview with Tyson Green, Bungie's Multiplayer Design Lead. Here's IGN describing the map:

"Isolation has two very distinct sides. Up top, it's a grassy, fairly open area with a few trees and a couple of small bunkers. Below are a series of tunnels that lead to a pair of underground bunkers. These bunkers, each with small slots for laying down fire at invaders, can serve either as strongholds or deathtraps."

Green says that the map was designed for Multi-Flag Capture the Flag, but it works well under just about any gametype including team slayer and infection. This map looks like a blast, I can't wait for some serious ownage.
