The ever elusive NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams fails to slip the radar and makes Sega's official TGS lineup.

Surprised by these Wii graphics? These shots certainly shocked me.

Sega's NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams has not graced the spire of internet news lately and little info has been released since it was officially announced for the Wii. Luckily Kotaku caught Sega's new trailer and fresh details on the game:

"In addition to dropping this new trailer for you enjoyment, Sega announced today that NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams for the Wii will feature two-player co-op along with "network support." They'll also bring back the sandbox A-Life mode with the ability to capture gene splice inhabitants of Nightopia."

So far the plot of NiGHTS is vague other than that the world of Nightopia is under attack by creatures called Nightmarens. Sega has not set an official release date for NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams except for a tentative Fall 07 on Sega's official site.

NiGHTS is definitely going to be a part of Sega's Tokyo Game Show lineup. Maybe Sega will have more information on the upcoming game or even an official release date.
