The team behind Psyconauts has found a partner to help bring the company's crazy humor and addictive gameplay to the masses.
Can Double Fine win over the critics and customers?
Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions have teamed up with Vivendi Games to launch a new game. Schafer had this to say about the new collaboration in a recent press release:
""The Sierra team has been awesome to work with," said Tim Schafer, president and CEO of Double Fine Productions. "Everyone we've met brings experience from a small developer background, so they know where we're coming from and what we have to do to make a great game."
No title has been announced. This will be the first intellectual property that Schafer is currently working on since the critically-acclaimed but commercially disappointing Psychonauts with Majesco.
Tim Schafer has also been behind some of the most humorous games ever created, like The Secret of Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, and Manic Mansion: Day of the Tentacle.
Hey, thanks: Sierra.com
