Blog Post: Family Guy coming to Xbox Live Subscribe to this RSS feed
Why go out and buy messy DVD's when you can have it downloaded straight to your Xbox 360?
Family Guy fits into everyone's life in one way or another. Either you're a die-hard fan who can't open your mouth without having twenty minutes of Family Guy references dribble out, or you're the friend of such a person and want to scissor kick their vocal chords. Well you're all in luck because the first two seasons of Family Guy along with the feature length film Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story will be available for download on the Xbox Live Video Marketplace on September 2. Each Episode will cost 160 Microsoft Points or about $2.
Destructoid points out that this is the first-ever deal between Microsoft and Fox, and the first time Family Guy has ever been (legally) available for download online. GamesIndustry brings us this quote from Jamie McCabe, Fox's Executive Vice President.
"This is our first one. We hope to have other content on there, but right now with the launch of Halo 3 and the launch of the new [fifth] season of Family Guy coming out [on DVD], the timing worked out really well for this one."
Hey, Thanks: Destructoid & GamesIndustry
