Both Lair and Warhawk have developed some major question marks recently. Does this portend problems for Heavenly Sword?

In a little over a month, three of the year's biggest PS3 titles will (supposedly) be on store shelves. Usually at this point in a game's development/production cycle, gamers are fully aware of the release details, product price, and other vital information. Lair and Warhawk, two titles that were due this month, had almost simultaneous missteps yesterday

. First, 1UP revealed that Sony still has not determined a price for the downloadable version of Warhawk (the boxed copy will include a headset and retail for $60). With less than a month to go, the company needs to figure out a fair price and make it known, as Warhawk will likely be the flagship fully-featured download game by which future titles like LittleBigPlanet we be judged against.

Lair is encountering problems of a different sort. According to the official PlayStation blog, Lair is undergoing last-minute changes that will push the release date from August 14 to September 4. In light of leaked scores from the October EGM, which were rumored to be in the 5-6/10 range, could these tweaks be addressing some of the problems the magazine found?

With Lair's delay, two of Sony's biggest games of the year now have dangerously close release dates. Lair is now due on the 4th, and Heavenly Sword due a little more than a week later. Could we see Heavenly Sword suffer a delay, or will the company risk cannibalizing each games' sales with back-to-back AAA titles?
