Anyone old enough to remember the wake of controversy that followed Custer's Revenge in 1982 might also remember the sub-8-bit rendering of Custer's victim. While obviously imbued with sexual, um... pixels, her exaggerated protrusions and discriminatory feather made us feel really dirty, even in the 80's.

Jynx, a short, humanoid Pokemon has been described as "a dead ringer for an obese drag queen" by social critic Carole Boston Weatherford, who also pointed out that the character is based off of the racist practice of blackface. When you add in the fact that Jynx is about two feet tall and unable to speak coherently, you've got a character as attractive as Jodie Foster in Nell. But what's with the slinky dress and push-up bra? I shudder to think of the porn collection owned by Jynx's creator.

#3 The 'Beat Em and Eat Em' girls

Granted, any female characters created during the Atari 2600 era aren't going to win any beauty contests, but we have a feeling that if this game were updated for current gen consoles, that a bunch of naked women, mouth-agape, trying to catch semen shot off a rooftop would still be disgusting. Doesn't mean it's not worth trying, though.

When most people think of the word melons they seldom conjure the image of Candy Kong. But this save-game icon probably has more melons than Donkey Kong does bananas. With the body of Jessica Simpson and the face of Homer Simpson, Candy Kong seems to be channeling Goldie Hawn. The Goldie Hawn of today, we mean.

Ms. Pac-Man may be working the cute angle today, but the image of a naked Miss adorning the top of an arcade machine confused many boys of the 80s. With a full-on drag queen getup consisting of horribly-applied makeup, knee-high leather boots, and a large feather boa, you have to wonder what attracted Mr. Pac-Man. Probably the fact that they seem to be the only members of their species. Yeah, that's it.
