Videogames are violent, but we're not taking umbrage with that. No, we're upset with the lack of innovation in weaponry. In an industry where every other game has a weapon with a trigger or a long, sharp blade, crazy, innovative weapons like these are a godsend.

Just when you thought the survival horror genre had been cashed, Fatal Frame hit the scene with a young, female protagonist who used a camera as a weapon against ghosts. It's just like Pokemon Snap, except it's actually fun.

#9 The Yo-Yo from Goonies II

There's a few reasons we should be thankful that the Goonies was only sequelized in videogame form. First, we weren't subjected to another hour and a half of Corey Feldman. Additionally, while the yo-yo Mikey brandished in this game added to its unique charm, cracking hundreds of enemies upside the head with it wouldn't have transferred well to the silver screen.

In the Ocarina of Time, Link was able to wield the Deku Stick as a weapon; sometimes even lighting it on fire for good measure. While it was mostly ineffective, it did have the ability to be wielded while engulfed in flames. Can your precious Master Sword do that?

Oh Joy! After spending hours collecting those danged rubber bands you are rewarded with a weapon, the rubber band ball. Just like a real rubber band ball this one is a projectile that bounces off multiple targets.
