Take aim at the best Tom Clancy games ever.

#10 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Desert Siege - [ PC ]

A change in location is always good, especially when there are no trees, bushes, and mountain air. Instead, Desert Siege offers the Ghosts dry and sandy places to battle more unwanted gun-toting bums. Sure, everything pretty much stayed the same except for the location, but at that time, getting a little sand in the eyes was something to look forward to with a Ghost Recon game.

#9 Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear - [ GBA ]

Bringing the intensity and strong team dynamics of a Rainbow Six game on to a portable system is always a challenge, but Rogue Spear proved that it could be done. Even in today's standards, the graphics are still crisp and the control scheme to maneuver multiple members at just the right spot is intuitive.

#8 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow - [ Xbox ]

The single player mode to this Splinter Cell sequel was just smashing. But the true innovation was in its multiplayer game where spies (in a third-person view) fought mercenaries (in a first-person view). Online matches have never become so creative and engaging until now.

#7 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder - [ Xbox ]

There's something cool about wearing camouflage and brandishing a weapon while vacationing in the tropics. This version includes the Ghost's exploits from their PC tryst in Cuba as well as some very sharp graphics. A new environment populated with a proven team of grunts is always good.

#6 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - [ Xbox ]

This is the last Splinter Cell on the Xbox, and it sure is the best of the bunch. Not only have the visuals been upgraded to a new level of creativity, but also the non-linear gameplay absolutely rocks. You can tackle each mission in so many different ways, resulting to instant replayability. A brand new co-op multiplayer mode was (and still is) just as innovative as it is fun to play.
