4. Game Informer, May 2001
Game Informer's known these days for routinely being the media outlet with first coverage on buzzworthy console games. Sometimes this backfires on them, however - most notably in 2001, with a cover and eight-page feature devoted to Azurik: Rise of Perathia, a title that routinely makes top-ten worst Xbox game lists. It's somehow refreshing to read the article, which discusses the blue guy's deep back story and what the developers will do with the sequel, and rest assured in the knowledge that said sequel will never, ever happen.
