Konami produces another ambiguous duo: Numbers 6 and 5.

6. Chris Lightfellow (Suikoden III)

Female Gender Clues:
1. Animal lovers tend to be women more often than men, and the fact that Chris decided to give the armor to the horse instead of making a helmet for him/herself, could demonstrate that.
2. Does that Breastplate have a protrusion where the breasts would be located?

Male Gender Clues:
1. While Chris is a gender-neutral name, pairing it with the last name Lightfellow conjures up a very boyish image.
2. Chris is the leader of the Zexen Nights. If Chris were a lady, she'd be light years ahead of the real military.

Gender Disclosure:
According to the makers of Suikoden 3, there are actual breasts behind that breastplate. It's Ms Lightfellow, though she should really consider "Lightlady" as an alternative.

5. Soma Cruz (Castlevania series)

Female Gender Clues:
1. Besides the white trench coat with the baby blue trim and fur collar, the skin-tight turtleneck, the heel on the back of the shoes, the taut, form-fitting, button-up, bell-bottom jeans, the strange beads that are hanging off the belt, and the long, layered haircut, I really can't find anything feminine-looking about Soma Cruz.

Male Gender Clues:
1. Due to smaller body sizes, girls tend to get cold more quickly than boys, so by the way Soma is haphazardly wearing that jacket, maybe Soma is telling us that he or she doesn't have that problem.
2. Either that chic wardrobe is meant to move attention away from Soma's flat chest, or he/she doesn't have the ability to grow them.

Gender Disclosure:
That outfit may not be fit for your average male vampire-slayer, but Soma's a man.
