Cigarette Burns

In this filthy scene, a crazed horror buff removes his own entrails and then proceeds to wrap his gooey intestines around a movie reel in order to create the ultimate horror movie. The result is, well, what you'd think it would be, just a bunch of red splotches on the screen. But it seemed like a good idea for a homemade movie at the time!

The Blob

Satanic Flubber wreaks havoc in this 1988 chilling remake that has enough gore to force the lunch out of the hardest horror veteran. Lasagna anyone?

Hellraiser

We learn from this scene in Clive Barker's Hellraiser to never mess with pale bald men that walk around in shiny black leather and acupuncture needles sticking out of their face. Although, this victim of Pinhead sort of looks like he's smiling, doesn't he?

Faces of Death

Contrary to popular belief, many of the scenes in this 1978 macabre shockumentary are 100% fake, and the best of these shams is the infamous monkey scene, where people eating at an Indian restaurant use a baby hammer to beat the brains out of a screaming monkey. If you watch really closely, you can see where the real ape was swapped with a rubber one.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies are fairly harrowing, but they aren't anywhere as bizarre as the original. Ironically, the most horrific scene in the movie does not involve a chainsaw, but the pricking of the central character's finger, which is then inserted into Grandpa's mouth for him to suck the blood out of it and get all of his essential vitamins. Yeeach!

The Brood

In the final scene of David Cronenberg's The Brood, we find out the hard way that a normal woman is the mother of the ugly trolls that terrorize the people in the movie. After birthing one of these oozing zygotes, she then licks it clean.

The Fly

A scene that is impossible to erase from one's mind is the one where the fly barfs a flesh-eating milky discharge on the hand and foot of the man who is stealing his woman.

Wishmaster

Wishmaster is one of those gore flicks that no one seems to remember, but it has more than its share of nauseating moments. Towards the end of the movie, a stone statue of a warrior comes to life and crushes the face of a security guard with a mace.

Dead Alive

Before Peter Jackson was making respectable pictures like King Kong and LOTR, he made the film that many regard as the goriest movie of all time. In this grotesque scene a zombie baby, plays peek-a-boo through someone's face.

Dagon

This relatively unknown B-horror movie is worth watching just for this ultra-horrifying scene where a man's face is slowly peeled off of his skull. Mommy!

Zombie

During this hard to watch scene in this Italian Zombie-fest, a wooden shard impales the eyeball of one of the female characters.

Hostel

The sagging eye-on-a-nerve scene is what everyone remembers after walking away from Hostel, and for good reason. What we can't still figure out is why Jay Hernandez's character thought it was a good idea to snip the loose eyeball with a pair of scissors.

The Mangler

It's always worse when it's an innocent old person that gets severely mutilated in a splatter movie. Still, this scene, where a factory worker is chomped up by an enormous possessed linen press machine, is one of the most bloodcurdling you'll ever see.
